Rihanna rocks the red carpet in an eye-popping dress by Armani!

The 2012 54th annual Grammy awards took place in LA on sunday evening, and as usual the fashion was a massive talking point. Compared to the Bafta’s which took place on the same night where the fashion was unassuming and conservative, the fashion at the Grammys was outlandish, bold and sexy!

Rihanna’s dress was our favourite of the night. The singer looked stunning with her newly dyed blonde hair, and super-toned figure and the barely-there custom made Giorgio Armani dress she wore was heart-stopping. The floor-length gown, was plunging, sideless, backless and split to the knee. She accessorized it with gold jewellery, simple clutch and bags of confidence.

“This is a collaboration between Mr. Armani and myself,” the 23-year-old told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest. “I wanted something a little bit like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface.” She went on to describe the ensemble as “simple but sexy, and a little gangsta at the same time.”

Rihanna picked up the Grammy award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration yesterday for her 2011 single ‘All Of The Lights’ with rapper Kanye West.

The Bajan singer also performed her Big Top 40 hit ’We Found Love’ before giving a duet performance with Coldplay of their track ’Princess Of China’.
